O2 Hotshot Problem

Got an o2 hotshot router today and set it up but cant connect when its in the dock all it displays is an exclamation mark on the wifi symbol. after going through an hours phone call with customer care the problem couldnt be resolved. i tried everything wifi is on on the laptop any help would be appreciated, thanks

I would be leaning towards it being an issue on the Hotshot but there's a few things you can try. Firstly uninstall the software from your PC, restart the PC and go through the installation from the beginning again. If you still have no joy there, I would try the Hotshot with another laptop or PC but I do have a feeling that it's the Hotshot at fault.
