i recently sold aib shares i bought in 2000, for 2000 euro i reckoned they would fetch 100 euro about, i received a letter from goodbody stating my shares had come in at 105.94,but looking down to commision charged, they relieved me of 100 euro, leaving me with 5.94. can someone tell me, is this allowed,as i feel completely ripped off. cheers.

Depends on what agreements you signed up to. They are probably entitled to charge that commision based on the agreement made.

    Hi,

I have 2000 aib shares amd 10000 BOI shares that i bought last year at a low cost. Im going to keep them and hope in a few years they will be worth something.
I have a DAVY online account. I am being charged 45 euro a year fee to have this account. Do you know if it possible to close that account and to get them to send on a Share Cert or something similar to that i do not have to keep paying that account fee ?

    Thanks
