Anyone have experience with using this TelecomFM Cell Route instead of this
GSM router or would it even be a runner?

What are you looking to connect it to ?

For alarm monitoring and routing mobile calls through a sim card.

The CellRoute is cheaper than the HKC GSM unit and I'm pretty sure you can't do calls through the latter.

The two units can make mobile calls through a sim card as both will provide an analog line. What alarm system are you looking to install the GSMs on ?
