    Hi,
I am 16 years old and I passed my car Driving theory test.
My question is that can I take lessons from a instructor or do I need to wait untill I am 17 ?

You need to wait until you're 17 and have your learners permit.

Classic Irish planning here. They let you sit the theory test at 16, but you can't legally get behind a wheel of a car til 17. Whoever decided this deserves a medal. On the bright side you could drive a moped! ;)

The B & W theory test is the same, so while you cant get your B license til you're 17, you can get your W license and then have it upgraded to B&W on your 17th birthday - it's been going on for years....

And then do I need to take those lessons when I am applying for my car Licence ?

The driving part of your test will last about 40 minutes. Throughout the practical test your examiner will be looking for an overall safe standard of driving, including when you are carrying out the set exercises. You can make up to 15 driving faults and still pass the test (16 or more results in failure). However, if you commit one serious or dangerous fault you will fail the practical test.

Four grade 2 in a row = Fail

Six grade 2 in one area = Fail

Nine grade 2 overall = Fail

    One grade 3 = Fail

    Hey everybody!

Just thought I'd make ye aware of a test that's based on (but not officially) the RSA question database for 2012.

Android and Iphone users can stay fresh whenever they get a spare minute.

    ANDROID - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=t4t.projct.theorytest
    IPHONE - http://tunes.apple.com/us/app/unofficial-irish-driver-theory/id519641693?mt=8

    Enjoy!
