    Hi lads,

Am up in the air about building some of my own ork trukks.

Not a great selection on ebay at the mo' and at 30 quid in games workshop, its prohibitively expensive for the amount of models i'd like to field in trucks.

Are there any suitable toy trucks/jeeps/tractors etc that i could use?

Anyone have any suggestions on alternatives to the genuine article?

Also, if i "ork it up a bit" by nailing stuff on, chopping stuff off etc, could i use custom made trukks in tournaments?

    Cheers for any advice lads.

Konvertin' just about anything is a long standing orky tradition. Take a look around the toy shops, find something about the right size, and off you go. Scraps of plasticard will do nicely for armour plates, and leftover bits from just about any other vehicle kit can be glued on to orkify it up.

I know plenty of lads who spent €20 on a tank from smyths instead of forking out €95 for a GW Baneblade. Most thought the "SmythBlades" were better than the original as they made Pew, Pew sounds :)

But until you buy or convert your own truks you can use marg containers for all I care in our games.
