    report it to the Gardai, they will give you all the information you need. This happened to my friends BMW.

    He contacted gardai., they gave him all the info and the persons insurance info. He contacted that persons insurance and notified his own. He billed there insurance for everything.

    It was a girl who drove off, she knew exactly what she did and it cost 1K to fix. Silly girl was caught on CCTV, good enough for her.

    Report it sooner rather than later before he sticks his own car in for a sneaky repair and claims that he wasn't in the area at the time.

    Got it done via solicitor before so its def doable.

    Report to guards anyhow - they will sort you out.
