    Hi Everyone,

    ESB & the GAA are working to make Croke Park & its fan travel carbon neutral. At www.culgreen.ie you can make energy saving pledges such as taking public transport to Croke Park rather than the car, putting a timer on your immersion or not over-filling the kettle. Since we launched in 2008, there have been 104,705 pledges made by supporters and over 10,000 tonnes of CO2 saved which is the equivalent of driving over 50 million km in an average car. Environmental engineering work at the stadium has also resulted in 11% less electricity used at the stadium, 52% of waste being recycling and reused compared to 21% in 2008, saving of 312,000 litres of water per day and the first stadium in the world to receive a BS8901 certification for sustainability.
