Just installing this bluetooth kit in a car. I got the iso lead from here:

    http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270643337053&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

The radio is a joke to get out of the car(have to take apart the entire dash) but I did eventually. Only problem is that the radio now does not come on with the ignition. Has to manually turned on and displays the 1 hour message.

So it must be running off the battery positive connection rather than the ignition pos. My question is could I have damaged anything or would it just be a case of switching the connectors around on the lead? I would have thought since the lead was specifically for this that's all it would be. Cheers.

I got a similar lead from similar company (maybe same one) for my passat, worked perfectly with no cutting or rewiring. I would go back to them, perhaps they sent a slightly wrong one, and can resend you proper one. Do it before you go splicing anything.

Yeah, I'll test switching the connectors around first and if I can't get it working right I'll get on to them.
