    Fergals just after having his pocket picked twice by Jack Lisowski building large leads in the opening 2 frames only to falter late on. 0-2 to Lisowski in a best of 7. Winner plays Gould in the next stage.

    Yea, great to see Joe hitting a run of form getting to the last 8 in the German masters. Tough match today against Marco Fu. Ken also has a tough game with Nigel Bond.

    Bond wins the frame on the pink and the match 4-2 with a great clearance of the last five reds and colours, Ken had his chance to level.
    Thats it qualifiers over and tournament starts proper on Monday on BBC Wales and Eurosport.
    I'm just waiting on the draw and i post it here asap.
    No Irish interest this year except Mark Allen from the North, Joe Swail was up against it today against Marco Fu, Fu determained to win and grab a top 16 spot before the ranking cut off and hence qualify automatically for Sheffield.

    Pity about Jimmy crashing out 4 - 0 last night, Day played very well tho, no doubt helped by the fact it was his home event. Fair play to him all the same.
