Was discussing this with a few people who smoke and most seem to say they wish they had never begun :rolleyes: cold turkey I understand is impossible for most smokers and is unfair, so my idea would be to raise the age of consent 1 year each year hence essentially letting smoking die without subjecting people to unfair craving.
Clearly this is frought with one or two issues i.e undersage smoking but all are overcomable and eventually it would just not be an issue amongst young people

Possibly making smoking illegal is a violation of human rights? i have no idea and so i post here for the opinion of the people who do smoke
