I don't use a fairway wood so I'm a little off-topic, but I use a Cobra Baffler hybrid from the fairway and I swear by it. My favourite club in the bag.

Might be worth trying one of these out.

ok i have a mizuno widec 2 3wood and it is very outdated and i am just wondering is their any woods for distance as i can pretty much hit my taylormade rescue club as far and that is like 2 years old

what degree is the rescue you have,if u purchase any modern 15 degree 3wood then no way should u hit rescue club as far.just go hit few and see what suits you.ping g15 taylormade burner and r9,titleist 910 just to name a few.all of these and more will give you distance and even option off tee.

I have the R9 3 wood and its a delight, pretty heavy and nice distance.

Best thing to do is look at whats on offer now, all the new stock is coming out meaning you can pick up last years models for handy money.

And of course, try to give your desired club a few hits before buying.

Please don't use text speak its awful

Most golf shops have what your looking for
    Ask inshore for some advice
If you see one you like ,hit it a few times at the range not indoors
    If your happy purchase

Taylormade Ping Callaway and Titleist are probably your market leaders

Sorry, I just couldn't justify spending that type of money on a set of irons, as much as i'd like to. Times are hard at the moment.

That is for my driver, 3wood, rescue club, irons & wedges so a brand new set the only thong I am not changing is my putter which is an oddessey 2 ball white hot

Hard for some not all. that sorta spending will only help the country.

I play a Titleist 909F3 18 & 15*, there fantastic but i should add i didnt buy them off the shelf, I got them fitted so the shafts and grips wouldnt be the same as standard.
