    Hi folks,

Due to head home in just over a week from Manchester to Shannon with Aer Lingus on a flight I booked early last month, paying just taxes and charges on the lot.

I'm booked on the evening flight (9.00pm) but work has just rostered me as being off on Thursday the 17th. My question is would it be possible to transfer to the earlier flight if I turned up at the airport beforehand? I know that they want to charge me about €65 to transfer online, but I was wondering if turning up might land me with more of a chance of getting it for free.

I want to be somewhat sure about it because turning up at the airport 14 hours early if things went wrong is not how I want to spend my day off :)

Thanks for the help in advance!

    Cul.

Your chances. Practically zero. The reason they have these fees is to make themselves money - and leaving it until the day will cost you more than it does now.
