    Hi all,

For those who wear hearing aids or know others who do. Have you or do you know anyone who has used http://www.hearingdirect.com ?

Their prices seem good and they have a 30 day moneyback options. Good reviews too. I cannot afford the hearing aids here at 1k and i know these are not branded but they are still digital aids and reasonably priced. With the reviews and warranty, i am tempted to go ahead and try them anyway.

Just was hoping some others have used them and could give some advice.

    Thanks.

Talk to Joan, their audiologist - she's just great! I had the same concerns and she spent a lot of time with me talking through the different options. I have had 2 aids for 3 weeks and so far so good...

they don't need to cost 1k.
Specsavers; €750 for two, and if you are entitled to PRSI you get 50% off.
Plus all the aftercare is free, something you dont get on-line.

Problem is i don't qualify for prsi at all as don't have enough stamps. I would probably go for the ones here if did. Might just try hearing direct. Just worried it's too good to be true.

check if the do a money-back guarantee (as some of the high street provider do). that way there's no risk to trying them.
