    lads, lassies

Looking for a good home set up for product photography - curious about you are using for that at the moment and which kits come recommended.

    Few issues:
    - I have no flash for my DSRL and do intend to splash out on one neither as I have other goodies to buy that entice me more, so will be using (hallogen/) light.

    - Will be shooting in my newly set-up camera paradise room with little natural light.

    - I got the suggestion of the linnen basket from M&S from Dave already (thanks!)

Sooooooo... what's you set up at the mo? Care to share some good tricks/tips??

put a small sheet of perspex on the bottom of the light tent to get a nice reflection. I have a spare flash at home if you want to use it. its a Canon 430ex

I did not want to fork out linen basket money so I pretty much made a light box using this bit of homemade interweb nonsense. I am very new to this so I was pleased with the results. The whole set up cost me 3 euros for some poster board for the back/bottom. I either use an off camera flash or a table lamp depending on what it is I am messing with.

Border, have you set it up in your house?
Even showing how your set up is could really help me a lot...

My high tech kit includes a large window, several sheets of white & coloured card as well as a fancy reflector made from tinfoil & card! Right now I don't have money to splash out on anything, but I could learn from the M&S linen basket method, so thanks for this thread :)
