I was hoping we'd be seeing Lindegaard playing for Denmark but it looks to be Sorenson.

Why is this kicking off so early?

    That could be it alright.

Jesus Bendtner, that was the most laboured and awkward looking step over I've ever seen.

This could be an interesting game. I hope the lash of subs is done at ht and once or twice only in the second half. I really hate when a sub comes on in the 60,65,70,75etc in friendly games.

    Easy for Bent,

    Great work from Walcott.

Walcott did well there considering his eye had been bushted!

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 32,865 ✭✭✭✭MagicMarker

Well that was easy, well done Walcott.

Joining up with Uniteds reserves doesn't warrant a place in his national side.

Neat finish by Lampard but a mile offside.

He has a place in his national side, he's on the bench!

He has played in the World Cup too. He frustrated the bejaysus out of Ronaldo.

Eriksen has a lethal set piece on him!

D'Agger having a good game, should have had two, mind you so should Darren Bent.

Ah ****e, thought he was with Brondby are someone like that. Ajax wont let him go to Liverpool for cheap after the Suarez move. Hes up there with Hazard on tonights performance though

He did well, came off at half time I think.

Who scored the second for England?

    Ashley Young

A decent performance from England, but once again Capello thinks playing Jack Wilshere means that he has introduced a new era at England.

England will win a few friendlies, qualify at a canter for Euro 2012, and then get eliminated as soon as they come up against anyone half decent. It's so predictable it's unreal.

The likes of Lampard, Terry, Ferdinand, Barry, etc shouldn't have been considered again after the World Cup and England should have adopted the German approach by putting a greater emphasis on youth.

Expect the media to claim that ''England are back on track'' etc, when in reality they're still stuck in the same place they were 12 months ago. Not one bit of progress has been made and although Capello is a superb club manager, he's totally out of his depth as an international manager.

To be honest I'd hazard a guess most managers would struggle to achieve anything with this England team. They're hyped up no end and believe it themselves but when it comes down to it, they simply aren't a team.

Rarely does a England performance entertain me, tonight was no different.
Just dont like watching them play and probably wont for many many years.
