Best way to break in a new hopup?

So I have a new AEG here and I want to get this hopup broken in. Should I turn the hop-up fully on and blast a few mags through it or do I ease the hop-up in, increasing the amount per mag?

I would say go half and half as an educated guess?
50% hop up , then a few hundred rounds, followed by 100% hop up then another few hundred. Then adjust the hop up to your tastes after that.
