Buying a bass amp

Hey I need to get a bass amp, I have a guitar amp (marshall tsl half stack) but that is my baby and dare not plug it into that. I do realise the implications of plugging it into that too. Also considering getting a bass head and plugging through cab but that also went out when i found out that guitar speakers aren't really made to take that.

Anyway I've come to the conclusion of buying a combo and my price range is anything up to 300, although if it can be helped don't want to pay that much as I don't play bass nearly as much as guitar.

thats one amp thats caught my eye, mainly cause it has it's own overdrive. Any other suggestions are welcome, I would prefer not to have solid state but chances are it's gonna be my only option at this price range.

What are you planning for the amp? Is it practice only or are have you gigs in mind?

Well chances are i'll only use it for practice but like having the option of being able to use it for gigs too

ok tried out a fender 25 watt amp (not a rumble). I assume whatever was before the rumble series and sounded good. I didn't get though cause i felt it wasn't really great value for money (roughly €200) but I will go for the rumble amp, will suit me fine :)

Warwick sweet 15.3 from Thomann, no question. A great amp, sounds good, just big enough for gigs. €298 so bang on budget. IMO it's the best you will get for that money.
