Shop in Cork selling a 1/5 TB iomega media centre for €150. Is that decent or are other, higher capacity ones available for less? Can't find much on amazon...

thanks, I've been looking around a few sites over the last few days and haven't seen anything similar for a decent price.

Be careful. Some of the iOmegas can't play common format files. The Director's probably the best of the bunch, but that has an issue playing sound on some very high quality files.

Have a look online at an AC Ryan Playon HD or HD mini, have one plays all files and no issues.

    Hi,

I've used a ScreenPlay Director pro for about a year - as earlier post stated it has issues playing sound oh HD videos - also is very fussy about what files it will play - e.g. will play some iso/ avi/ mpg files & not others which have been created the exact same way.

I recently purchased a Dune HD Smart D1 which I'm very happy with - it could do with a jukebox for playing music, instead if the standard file list, but it's a small gripe.
