Recommend a laptop

Need to get a new laptop but don't want to pay more than €600.

Looking for a dual core processor, preferably i5, 3GB RAM at least, 320 GB hard-drive (min) but it must have a decent graphics card. I'm not sure if these Integrated Graphics cards are any good, but I can't seem to find a laptop with a Radeon graphics card + i5 for under €600.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Appreciate the heads up on a website I wasn't familiar with before.
Gonna compare the 2 graphics card on some review site and decide then.
Both laptops fit the bill nicely.
Am leaning towards the Toshiba.

Word of warning: a lot of people have had trouble updating ATI graphic card drivers with Toshiba. Some haven't and are fine but others have.

I bought an acer aspire 5742 with the i5 460 processor for €600 in pc world, which i think is pretty good value as the same laptop is £630 on amazon at the moment.

I can't find the link to this laptop on pc world at the moment but here is the link for it on amazon

Well, i'm not heavily into laptops or anything but the general concensus around here is that the build quality of lenovo laptops is a cut above the acer, hp norm.

That one you link to seems decent value too considering the generous ram and i3 chip. Watch out though, i've looked at a few reviews of the g550/555/560 series and apparently they have the most awful touchpad so thats something to be aware of

Yeah, thats a nice deal especially for a shop but for the op's needs, its not really one to look at because it only has integrated graphics which means the very fast processor, and good ram is wasted to an extent

how are you getting on with this laptop?

this is core i3, but has a good graphics card. also has high res screen - 1600x900. it's 17inch screen but pretty light for that size.
