    Lads,

    I have a 01 BMW 316 1.9 Petrol.
When I indicate left or right 70% of the time it flickers really fast.
All bulbs seem to be working fine. Is it a relay that has to be replaced and if so is it something I can do myself?

    Cheers

If they flicker fast it usually indicates there is less resistance in the circuit. As you said, it can happen if a bulb is blown, but in this case, I'd check the relay out. They're usually only about €20 new.

Well, on my Escort Mk3, it's located on the fuse box.

However on the Mk6, it's located on the indicator stalk.

Check your owners manual (or online) to see where yours is, although 9 times out of 10 it'll be on or near the fuse box.
