Got a number of volunteer positions to fill or know of an organisation looking for volunteers?
Then this thread is here for you to give that information on volunteer opportunities, recruitment evenings/days etc. and help any readers of the volunteerism forum that might be interested in applying.
    Good Luck recruiting and Thanks!

PS Alternatively there is a Search function to find a topic-specific thread instead for your post.
If it is volunteers purely for research you are looking for then the Surveys and non media research forum is probably for you.
Please don't post looking for volunteers for purely fundraising work, Charter.

Cork Community Art Link is looking for volunteers to get involved in the 2011 Dragon of Shandon Halloween Parade and performance that celebrates the age old Irish tradition of Samhain in the historic heart of Shandon, Cork City. This annual event is a collaborative production between artists and local community groups.

Each year up to 100 individuals take part in our voluntary participation programme learning skills in prop making, mask and costumes, project development and event management. Some volunteer a couple of hours on the day of the event, others have a longer term engagement spanning several months. Many return on an annual basis from Ireland, Europe and beyond and leave each year equipped with new skills, learning and friends gained during the course of the project.

If you are interested in getting involved contact info@corkcommunityartlink.com
