    Hey guys,

I currently have a gaming laptop that i don't use for games and it is simply loosing its value and not being used to its potential so gonna stick it up on adverts.ie soon enough. its an asus G50 and is quiet heavy compared to a 'normal' laptop.

Previous to this breast i had a Dell M1330 which was a lovely little laptop, would love something similar for handiness and portability.

Had my eye on the Dell Adamo which is 600 pounds on save on laptops, i know it isin't the best laptop in the world and by god was it overpriced at close to 2k, but for a couple hundred euro upgrade it could be a nice change, what ye guys think? or would you rate a similar size/weight laptop higher than this in a similar price range?

p.s. would only be using it for surfing and playing movies with ease, the solid state drive on the adamo seems attractive even if it still does take a 51 second boot on windows,(wonder would it be faster on linux perhaps)

Have you considered an 11.6 or 12 inch yet? the size and weight makes em addictive

I have a 1215n, has full win 7, 2 gig ram, little dual core processor, ion graphics, weights about 3.5 lbs, 6 hour batt (lasts about 5 hours something with movies).. 465 euros

I surf and watch movies on it, perfect

There are new AMD fusion machines coming out with really good batt time up and over 8 hours

I can never go back to 14/15 inch laptops now cos of this thing
Even the Adamo would feel like a beast
