Looking for good motor for 1999 smiley transit.

    Head went in van and is burning oil so looking for another block if anyone knows of one about. Turn key motor from a rusty parts van / DOE failure might suit.

    It's the banana inlet manifold type 2.5 diesel, 14" wheels.

    Give Mr Clarkson a call, a friend of his has an XJ220 engine in his transit, might be able to sort you out :D

    Would 96 lwb minibus have the right engine? I have one in Kerry going cheap.. needs a battery but still drives AFAIK.
