    i'm looking for a change in life in my early 30s and was woundering is it too late to reeduate as accountant or have i missed the boat on that one?

    It was easier during the boom - I know of a thirtysomething who became an accountant by training with a small practice.

    Consider the ACA Elevation program.

    What are your current qualifications? Any particular area of accounting you want to go into?

    It's never too late. Also have a look in the mature & non traditional students forum. Plenty of people there in a similar position.
