Thinking of recording

Hi,

Our band are thinking of doing maybe 5-6 songs for an EP.

We are a heavy rock outfit. Something like Tool, QOTSA, Crippled black phoenix type jobby.

We have done some 8-track home recording ourselves which was fine for demo's and free music. But we a looking for something more professional.

You're sound and feel would be best captured live - in my view layering this type of material can be tricky to keep sound expression intact.
