    Unfortunately have only one pic.

We got 4 hogs in total, all sows as the boar with the group was not worth shooting.

Had all 4 made into smoked hams, chops and jalapeno cheese sausage. The food was delicious. IMO only elk surpasses wild pig meat in taste.

Calibers used were two 270's, a 308 and my favourite 44 mag from my S&W 29 with 8 & 3/8" barrel firing 300 grain solid hard cast slugs.

Totally agree based on my experiences with Wild Boar in Southern France:)

A ranch (just 3500 acres) not far from Willows. A friend looks after the place for the owner. The owner has no interest in hunting - he leases it to beef farmers.

So my friend gets to hunt it whenever he wants.
