Cutting contact?

    Boys, I need your opinions/views on this. Had been great friends with a male friend of mine, then out of the blue, cuts me out of his life, and therefore me having no contact with him.
    Why would a male friend do this to a female friend? Opinions/views qould be greatly appreciated cheers

    Is it possible that he has an OH (either recently or long standing) who possibly cannot handle his close relationship with you and has given him an ultimatum that either your friendship goes or she walks?

    Has he got a new girlfriend? This happens a lot

    And it happened to me - If he's gone and done that, probs not that much of a loss to be honest.

    The obvious thought is that he has unwanted feelings for you or he thinks that you have unwanted feelings for him.

    Thanks, sorry for the silly question, but could you elaborate? How would this cause him to cut me out?

    This was my first thought when I read your post too OP.

    Do you think that maybe he has stronger feelings for you and would perhaps find it easier to have no contact with you? (I've been in that boat and it is easier not to see someone if you have unreciprocated feelings towards them).

    OR do you think that he might think you fancy him? Maybe the feeling is not mutual and he's cutting contact as an immature way of dealing with it?

    Have you always only ever been friends? Have you ever kissed him? I don't mean a peck on the cheek!!
