For alot of the entry level jobs with Spar/Mace/Centra etc they wouldnt advertise need for staff,most of them are franchised outlets so it would certainly do know harm dropping your CV into the manager and asking them to keep you on file for any future opportunities.

Do you have any retail experience?

Without it it could prove difficult getting a start.
