Or what is your working week ?

Mine is 20-25, Usually I am always at the bottom of my band. Which is 20.

So you could have 300 People working 20 hours , that's really 150 people working full time.

Anyway. 20 Hours here, pretty ****ty at leased I have a job anyway I suppose.

So your hours, and are they ****ty hours or decent hours as in the non fully Felix hours ?

Maybe someone could make a poll with this, and add in a few bands..

    0-10
    10-15
    20-25
    25-30
    30-35
    35-39
    39+

I don't operate on hours. Just a task basis. Some weeks i could probably only put in maybe 10-15 hours while others i'd put in close to 40. Avarage is probably around 25 hours. I get paid the same regardless though. Good thing is i get given stuff that they consider should take for example 2 days to do. But i can probably knock it out in 6 hours if i work straight through. I work from home so they never know.

When I used to work in a cinema (about 3 years ago) I work anywhere betweey 15-30 hours per week, bordering on the 19 hour per week (on a good week); despite I was classed as "full time" and had no college/kids/X to deal with.

Standard working week for me is 37 hours. Got some extra work earlier this week though, that should last a few months so that will probably push it up to 50 or so. 20 euros an hour, i couldnt pass it up :)

Was doing the same last year, fair play it ain't easy to do. Your changing environments all the time and it takes down your immune system with it.

Alot of people with some decent hours on here, wish I had 1/2 of these hours ..

Anything from around 33 to 42 (excluding breaks), though I get paid a decent hourly rate and overtime occassionally when it goes over 38, so I can't complain at all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,911 ✭✭✭Simi

~13hrs a week and another 30-40hrs per week I spend in college.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,658 ✭✭✭Patricide

About 12 hours per week at the moment while I improve my German. I could work full time but I thought it would benefit me in the long run to just do enough to pay my way until im pretty fluent.

Between 5-15 and I get paid a fortune for doing something I love Ha Ha Ha, Excellent. :D

Well my contracted hours at the hospital are 27 per week but I nearly always work over - either because I need to stay over to finish sorting something out or because of extra shifts due to short staffing levels. Then I work around 10hrs per week at a local nursing home. Plus I'm self employed as a food journo so I probably spend about 15hrs on that a week too (but it depends on work availability etc).

So in answer to the question 50+ hours a week.

Roughly work between 30 -35 hours on a good week. My company has over budgeted hours recently so we are all feeling the pinch.

Before moving to Poland I worked about 35 hours a week.

Now that I have moved, I only work 9/10 hours per week (officially) and about 30 hours unofficially (freelancing- which pays quite awfully thanks to India and Pakistan).

You're not by any chance referring to freelance websites like oDesk? It's just that I've been doing some work on those lately and the pay is so bad it's jaw-droppingly shocking.

50 a week, shift work at the airport.

For F*ck all money too

9 hours a day 5 days a week because they don't pay us for the hour break we have to take. Throw in 2 and a half hours driving every day and the poor wages and I'm not a happy camper.

Jesus, some of the hours people were here are crazy. You poor feckers :(

I worked loads of overtime in my previous position, but was paid for it all by the hour. Only problem with being paid overtime is you then get reamed on tax.

Moved to a new position a month ago and now I'm on a 39 hour week with a set salery. Haven't looked back. I love knowing I get to go home at half 4 every day, no matter what. And half three on Fridays! \o/
