So I'm in the market for a second hand sports coupe, have about 20k to spend. Seems like there's good value in the 3lt+ category as everyone is downsizing. I'm limiting my search to big engined coupes that have devalued a lot in recent months/years.
    Open to suggestions!

Motoring background: Current car is golf gti mk4. Only ever driven hatchbacks in the past save for a few short spins in friend's cars.

I've been looking on carzone and 350z's, 645's, and boxsters tickle my fancy. Well not actually keen on convertibles so should really give the boxster a miss unless some 911 or cayman seller gets desperate and comes down to my price level!

As long as you don't mind paying the tax there's lots and lots of value. And if you're going for a big engine car you might as well get the biggest engine you can find.

    Brera Coupe

    335i

    645i... drool...

Fuel consumption shouldn't be too eye watering.

How about this for only €5k or less?

Anything you buy for €20k will depreciate that much in a year or two... :D

Hmm yea, hadn't been looking at alfas. Apparently you're not a petrol head until you own one. But the brera isn't my cup of tea.

    This Beemer seems decent value:

Would be quite the step up! But wonder how it would compare to a more sporty coupe like an s2000 or boxster. Is the 6 just a big cruiser?
