Hi, Does it make any difference when handle bars have deep grove to hide cables. I'm looking at some ritchey models some of them are completely round. I'm going to put new ultegra shifters on them which have both cables run internally so what's the best choice for me here ? Thanks To make things easier I'm looking at any…

To make things easier I'm looking at any bars from here up to 70 euro.

I have these on my PX, http://www.bike24.com/1.php?content=8;navigation=1;product=13335;page=1;menu=1000,4,133,31;mid=7;pgc=0;ID=5065c71a504d6f979dc573becc487a09 although it's only the brake cable under the bar tape. I held the cable to the bar with electrical tape prior to wrapping. I can't say the lack of a groove has caused any problem.
