EDIT: oh dear - looks unlikely from this

    BATS.

    that is all.

Is there a new release coming, or is that just a random declaration of your admiration for them?

Need to get to one of their gigs soon, haven't seen them live in ages, think the last time was Mission of Burma.

    this happened on twitter yesterday.

"who thinks it's time for a new @BATS_ record?"

    "@rctrcollective we're getting there chief. We're about halfway :)"

so I'm assuming it will be out sometime this year, possibly before summer depending how fast they are at recording.

If Bell XI were not Irish, no one here would like them.

I'd actually be of the opposite opinion ie if they were from New York a lot more people here would like them.

Ever since I heard one song from this guy, I've wanted more.
It's the tall broad shouldered guitarist from Grand Pocket Orchestra.

I have enough respect for bellx1 that i'll buy the album unheard when it comes out. I like about 30% of their songs but those I like I really like.
