Looking for a good starter drum kit

I've been playing drums for a little over a year on an electronic kit now...and it sucks. I'm looking to invest in a good drum kit to start with that will do me for a few years and that will allow me to advance in my playing. I know you pay for what you get but realistically I wouldn't be able to spend more than 500-600 EUR. Would anyone be able to suggest what kit (with cymbals included or kit and seperate cymbals for under 600) to get and where to get it or if there is anywhere I'd be able to buy a good kit second hand?

Definately buy second hand..there's great value out there. just have to bide your time..the right one will come along. 500-600 is a great budget for 2nd hand gear. dont be afraid to barter either. minimum of 15% off the asking price.
