I seen it was clear out so I grabbed the Eq mount and threw the Fuji Finepix S6500fd on the scope rings. I did a quick polar alignment, and got snapping.

I quickly realised the camera only allows a max exposure of 30 seconds, and was a bit disappointed with this :( ,it was my 1st time using this camera. It has a zoom lense on it, but I didnt zoom in an awful lot. I spent about an hour out getting pics. All pics are exactly as taken.

Usually after the 30 second exposure there is an option for unlimited exposure, your sure its not there?

It just goes up to 30" then doesnt go any further. I have other camersa here, im just a bit disappointed with the Fuji. Seems senseless

Not a whole lot of data there, or so it seems.
Turn off any noise reduction etc.
Try edit in Picassa (free download), change the highlights shadows etc..

For cameras limited to 30 second exposures - it's really worthwhile taking multiple exposures especially if you have an equatorial mount.
Stack the pictures afterwards, using e.g. Iris or Registax. This can give you much better signal to noise, and a much prettier picture.
Take 15-20 30 second exposures and see the difference once they are stacked.
The equatorial mount will ensure there's no real field rotation to deal with, making the stacking process that much easier.
