Can i put 18' alloys on my caddy?

    I have a new shape vw caddy van i use for work. Ive been looking for ages for a nice set of alloys for it, and have finally found a set which are 18' in size. I currently have the standard 15' rims on it and i am wondering if it is possible to put the 18s on? I have often seen various caddys for sale, and somewhere in the ad it sometimes mentions, 'comes with 16', 18' alloys'. Is it possible to put such a different size alloy on? Thanks in advance!:)

    Without being funny, Why the hell would you wish to go to the expense of doing this to a work vehicle.

    I mean the cost of rubber for 18's would be crazy considering the miles you might cover.

    Are you mad?

    Or are you flagrant with money?

    To explain this a bit more politely: if you fit 18" rims, you'll have to fit very low profile tyres, like maybe 40 profile. These are intended for high performance use (low profile gives a stiffer sidewall, and better handling).

    Low profile high performance tyres are a good bit dearer then ordinary 65 profile tyres.

    Low profile tyres will also spoil the ride in your van.

    Would they do the correct load index for the axle weight, on low profile 18"tyres?

    no but i was trying to find some bbs ch style alloys for my yoke and this caddy came up..this is mine and looks very dull beside that caddy :(
