    Live and Unsigned Dublin Band Competition FRee Slots available on the 24th of February, 10th and 31st of March, and 15th of April All the above take place in The Pint Bar on Eden Quay Dublin 1

    Its FREE to enter but we do require each band to bring 10 fans along on the night!!

    We get an average of 150 to 200 people to these gigs so you'll always get to play to a great crowd.

    The best band on the night will win a guest appearence on a new Irish TV Show and also get to play live on the show. This show will be broadcasted across 4 TV channels, so its great promotion for any band or musician.

    You dont have to preby tickets

    We supply 2 guitar amps

    all the Pa equipment

    3 DI boxs

    one bass amp

    all the drums besides symbols and Hi Hat clutch

    Hi we dont have a competition on the 23rd, you must mean the 24th of February, it starts at 7pm, its nearly full at the moment but we might able to fit you in, pm me your details if interested in playing

    Its not free to enter if you have to get 10 people along to pay to see you play!!

    Free, meaing, the band don't have to pay out of pocket on top of punters having to pay to get in as well.

    What confuses me about the complaints is that bands already pester their mates to come see them play, all the time (and their friends have to pay in to those gigs too, right?). How many people are in a band, 4-5 people? So are bands really saying they can’t arrange for 2-3 friends each to turn up for a once-off event? With 150-200 people there, that is an atmosphere. Unlike when your mates turn up to see you play to them and 18 other people… you look more pathetic in those situations, even though it’s not always the fault of the band.

    It’s a bit like a raffle really. You generate some ‘door’ money, and then it goes to one lucky act. What’s the problem? Don’t enter if you think it’s unfair and book your own events which pull 150-200 people.
