Growing out a bob

I am in the midst of growing out a 'posh spice' bob i.e. graduated and am starting to lose patience! The bob actually suits me, I am more so growing it out just for a change.
Any ideas on how to make more tolerable? Anyone go through the same pain??
I'm getting my colour done on saturday to distract myself and I am trying sooooo hard not to tell them - chop it back up! :)

I grew out that bob, I cut my elbow length hair into that style and loved it, but the growing it out was awful! I had these long bits at the front for ages, so when they back was some bit long enough I got the front shortened to match it, it meant I had a ridiculously boring hair cut for a while but at least it didn't look as odd anymore.

I don't know if you curl your hair but I found putting a few loose curls into it hid the angle a bit better.

I feel your pain, I've been growing out a bob since last May! So far it's down to my shoulders. I second the curls. They've gotten me through a few tough weeks!

I was in the hairdressers a couple of weeks ago getting my colour done and I ended up getting a fringe! It's gorgeous and it actually really suits the long bob I have at the minute! I know a fringe might not suit everyone but you could consider it, although then you might have to grow the fringe out! I'll be keeping mine, never had one and I think I've been missing out all these years!

I had the Posh spice Pob a few years ago too, I loved the haircut!

But it took months to grow out properly! I just kept going back for trims to the hairdressers, scrunched it into curls or slicked it back and fixed with a hairband.
