PS3 & Pinnacle Video Transfer?

Hi all, I'm just after realising I have a Pinnacle box lying around the house. Assuming I can find the power brick, would I be correct in this setup to record video from my PS3? Thanks.

Dunno about the right hand side but the left should work fine and be lagless as long as the splitter and converter are powered.

BTW, I'm looking at your component to VGA box right now. Shiny. :P
