I brought it back to the garage for repair and they want more money from me. I am only after paying for a full service and filters now they want money for the leak. Before the car went to the garage for a service i never had anything wrong with it. Are these taking the mick because i am a girl.I really need some advice.

Oil leaked all over the place. Some O ring got loose. Car was empty after a full fill last week.

Well if it was the sump plug I would reckon it is there fault, anything else may be just coincidence, given the lack of detail/info you have I'm sure you can appreciate it is hard to say :)

They didnt replace the rubber bit when they put back in the plug that keeps the oil in.

It'll cost around 2 euros + a refill of oil.

If it leaked from the bung or oil filter it is their fault. If it leaked from anywhere else its just a coincidence and you can expect to pay for the fix. People seem to think that mechanics are out there to rip ye off. WRONG. They are mostly good ones out there but they are also scumbags too, just like in all jobs. Ya see people get paranoid because they don't understand anything about a car and they automatically think the guy is trying to pull a quick one.
Were in the Island are ya located?

In fairness in the case they dont replace the o-ring on the sump plug its just sheer lazyness, any mechanic worth his salt would at least check its not leaking with a sheet of newspaper if a new o-ring wasnt handy

Ask them for an exact decription of what is leaking before you pay for anything. If there was no leak before you dropped it in then it would he hugely unlikely for such a severe leak to happen so suddenly after a service. My money would be on the sump plug washer or they didn't check to see if the rubber seal from the old oil filter was still stuck on the block before they refitted the new filter.
