Where to sell a hotel reservation?

Anyone know where the best place is to sell a New York Hotel reservation? Is there any websites that would be more suited to travel deals? Something came up and I cant head over now for St Patricks weekend and need to sell the reservation. I have it listed on gumtree, donedeal and adverts but maybe there's a forum or somewhere better to advertise it? Since its fairly close to the reservation I was thinking it might suit an american person more (cheaper flights). Any help is greatly appreciated!

eBay would give you a broad audience.

Be careful with that - the reservation is presumably guaranteed on your credit card. You could end up with someone running up a bill that gets charged to your account. Many hotels will take a copy of your card on check-in (which would avoid this problem) but not all do.

I presume the hotel with get the CC details of the new person staying there? They've already confirmed I can sell the reservation privately and transfer the name. Its a non refundable pre-paid rate so I have to sell it or lose the 1000 I paid for it.

Good point though, I'll double check it with the hotel

Tell them to refund half of it or else you will let a bunch of homeless tramps stay there.
