iPod Touch 3G Not Recognized

    Hi lads, I'm just wondering something...
    My iPod is running 3.1.2 and jailbroken using blackra1n (ancient I know), but yeah it's a tethered jailbreak. My iPod Touch died last week and I've tried plugging it in to my PC and running blackra1n to turn it back on. But it seems to just stay at the "Waiting For Device" box. I can't even restore it as iTunes isn't even recognizing an iPod being plugged in. Any help please?

    Forgot to add, its just stuck at the itunes screen on the ipod. A little bump too. :)
