Teenage Trans Resources?

    Hi there :).

I'm aware that there are LGB groups such as BelongTo for teenagers but I don't know if there's anything for teenage transgenders, I'd dearly like to know because I need support through somethings. If there is would I have to go appearing as the real me, because I don't think I couldn't sneak out of the house in clothes my parents didn't even know about, I live in Wicklow by the way.

    Thanks in advance. :)

BelongTo has a trans-specific group called IndividualiTy.

Individuality is more of a social group than a support group, but its very relaxed in atmosphere. No need to show up as any specific gender,no pressure. Just be yourself. I could give you the email of the social worker running it if you want.

I'm just nervous about the social group aspect, at 17 I feel a bit a young :/ I guess I'll have to wait until I'm contacted back.

You're not the only one lol. Get several people in a room with body problems of any kind and you're guaranteed a few quiet meetings, but the guy running it is really nice and never pressures anyone on anything. Was there last week and we had a good laugh even if the 'ice breaker' at the beginning happened to last the entire 2 hours xD.

Seems we were all nerds too so every second thing said was about trolling online and John just sat there with a confused look on his face while we discussed how combining cats with buttered bread gives you antigravity xD (google it lol)

Really no pressure, and everyone acts like a 12 year old so 17 would be mature by our standards :D
