    Hi guys,
Got letter in the post saying that points had been uploaded to my card, but doesnt say how much (not much anyways dare I say), bur does that mean I have to go to BTs to ask how many point were uploaded to the card?

I brought my card in the other day when I needed to pick up some make-up. I asked the girl who served me what the deal was with the points so she swiped my card and offered to let me knock them off the total price of the make-up (which I stupidly did, I only had something like €2.50's worth, I should've let them build up. Oh well!)

I got the same message via email, if you register the card on the Brown Thomas website you can check your points balance online. I haven't checked mine yet, I'd say it's only about 3c!

    Thanks lads.
That was so not clear from their correspondance.

    €4 woohoo!

I really think the BT loyalty scheme is a bit of an insult to their customers. You get 1c back for every euro spent, would be a long time waiting to get a decent discount based on that!!

And if you've forgotten your card they dont add the points onto the receipt like Boots do

you get told in the email how much you have if it is OVER five euro but the email is without a figure if it is under a fiver.

@Alaskimo-cake - if you just have the ordinary card you have to spend the points during the redemption period or you loose them as far as I know!!!

Yeah BT say that the main benefits aren't the points you get to spend but rather it's all the other bits during the year like a sale preview (where you can come in and buy at sale price before the sale actually starts), discount weekends, free parking promotions etc.

Still.....the Boots card kicks the BT Black Cards butt!!

Let's put it this way - I've spent €600 in BT over the last year on shoes and makeup. Total kickback - a measly €6. It's frankly insulting.

I much prefer to buy make up at Boots. Much more back in points and you can spend them on everyday things (for example I was thirsty so I got a free coke with my points the other day).

One boots in Limerick has benefit counter which is great.

Anyone know of any Boots stores in the city centre that sell Clinique and Clarins?

I know Liffey Valley sell them, but it's too far out for me. I've tried Jervis St and Henry St, none of which sell Clinique or Clarins.

    Thanks.

Dundrum do but that's not city centre either.
