I'm looking for information regarding the rights of a will executer regarding estate assests. Does the executer have the sole right to conduct the sale of such assets? E.g accept monetary offers for a plot of ground, motor vehicle etc with the purpose of submitting the proceeds to the estate or would one have to consult with all benefactors?

An executor has the legal power to deal with the assets of the estate as he wishes but he is obliged to have regard to the wishes of the beneficiaries. The beneficiaries can apply to the court to have an executor removed. If all of the beneficiaries are agreed on a course of action which is feasible and sensible the executor should go along with it.
