I want to do a small bit in suspesion on my wife's 01 fiat bravo 1.2 16v.
At the moment she pays 350 euro per year for her insurance with aviva.

If have a set of Eibach springs for this car to put together with brand new set of KYB gas shocks + strut bar.

I was trying to find out with her insurer, but lady in customer line was not able to help me, as she said that car will need engineers report.

How much increase on premium can she expect?
And what's the story with this engineer's report? I want to put all mentioned stuff myself... How am I going to get engineer report? How much it might cost? Or maybe she should change insurer...

    Any ideas?

I told Aviva about my coilovers and they just said it was alright...no add-on at all.

As Midnight has shown it will be completely up to your insurer and only they will be able to answer your question.

When I was with Quinn, they only cared about addons that increased the power but saying that I made sure to get them to add everything to be safe.
Was only charged about 100 quid extra in total for an induction kit, em / decat & catback system.

Depends on the insurer though as some don't allow any modifications

I added a sainless cat back to my car last year, cost 100 extra on insurance. This year they wanted 500 euro extra.
