Guess its so much for the next coalition

Labour party TD, Jan O’Sullivan, has launched an attack on Fine Gael saying that the party is lying to the public about Labour’s policies.
Deputy O’Sullivan has accused Fine Gael of printing leaflets for party canvassers with tips on how to criticise Labour.
According to Deputy O’Sullivan, Fine Gael have suggested that Labour will tax ordinary workers by an extra €500

Do you have a source for this?

Seems to have come from newstalk. While it's on breakingnews.ie, using the same report text, newstalk have the audio. (rodento, including a source is always advisable to the point of being necessary)

I've edited the thread title from "FG play dirty" to "Labour's Jan O'Sullivan accuses FG of playing dirty" after reading the report. (that's the mod part of this post)

They will still more then likely form a coalition, its clear that FG see Labour as genuine competitors against them now so they are playing dirty to try and take as many seats as possible off them. If Labour gain many more it is possible that the coalitition could be Labour led or Labour could go into goverment with independents and other parties. Can FG be trustworthy in power when they are suggesting to canvassers to lie and cheat to the people of Ireland to gain votes. Sounds like they are playing the FF game. They spoke quite a bit about it on Matt Cooper.

Personally I don't like the coalition of these two parties as they clearly have too many differences. A (centre) left and right wing coalition is ridiculous, we deserve proper Left and Right wing politics so we have a clear idea of what we are voting for, the populist stuff from both sides at the moment is getting annoying. If Labour were to say that they would not go into government with FG I think it would get them a hell of a lot more votes. A lot of people I know are supporting Independents (including myself) because they don't want to vote for a party that will support a FG led government.
