    Right.

Any recommendations for buying footjoy shoes online?

all im after is a pair of BROWN -wide fitting - DryJoys or even AQL's.... ive scoured the net for a week and im getting zip. Rang around shops and no joy. I'll been fitted for a pair of wide fitting footjoys so im confident the size is right. Looked into getting a pair of customized MyJoys but the price is bananas.

    tried the following sites:

    directgolf
    onlinegolf
    americangolf
    nevadabobs
    golf shoes direct
    discount golf
    ebay
    amazon
    mcGuirks

apparently wide fitting golf shoes in brown are the preferred shoe of the freak... at least i belong to some kind of demographic now.

try Fleabay, lots of pro golf shops selling shoes on there.

by the way, where did you get to try on footjoys (somewhere in Dublin?), as would like to try on some for size, unsure where in Dublin carries footjoy, in the market myself at the mo?

Footjoys are quite a large fit, I take a 9.5 whereas in Nike or asides it would be a 10 to 10.5.

    true enough.

its the width though. i actually bought a pair of medium width Dryjoys ( which is the standard width for dryjoys and AQL's), length was fine, plenty of room in the toe-box... heel was snug. Had to bring them back after wearing them in the house for a few hours. Need a wide fitting footjoy.

SNRG-Y's on the other hand come wide fitting as standard... they just cost an extra 50 bob or so. hmph.

when i brought them back in to nevada-bobs... had a fun time explaining myself to that ultra paranoid and astonishingly unhelpful american fella who is a "sale assistant" there.

as a yank would say... what a douche!

I was in mcguirks in leopardstoen last week just for a look, came across a pair of footjoy synr-g's for €50... Only problem being they were two different sizes.
worked out perfect for me with my left foot half a size smaller
    Bargain

Why don't you just find the supplier code of the pair you want and order them in you shop of choice?

Shouldn't be a problem in any store, As long as you explain that you have had your feet measured and that the standard fitting will not fit, and, of course you are willing to pay up front.

yes, have had to go that route.. should get a call this week, from nevada bobs, to say my new shoes are awaiting collection.

cant wait 'cos my feet were bloody soaking and killing me after 14 holes on sat.

Still cant get all brown footjoys though... footjoy have narrowed the color / style options for all theyre off the shelf products... and have brought in theyre "myjoys" option for those who want something different and have €179 to spend on golf shoes.

sadly, that is not me. oh well. its a hard life. :)

I see adidas have realeased a new pair of brown shoes. Saw them in this months Golf World magazine and im pretty sure I saw Jim Furyk wearing them at the Accenture Matchplay last week. Im a big fan of the all brown shoes too and its a pity they arnt more readily available. With regards the shoes mentioned above, id say the are pricey considering they are just launched unfortunatly.
