Checking what constituency I'm in?

So basically, I live on the border between Louth and Meath East. For years, we've voted for East Meath candidates, but there was talks recently we would be shifted over to the Louth elections since we live right beside Drogheda anyway. I hadn't heard much about whether the change went through or not and it wasn't really a concern until now.

In the last few days, we've had one candidate from Louth with reps going round campaigning for him. And this morning we got literature in asking us to vote for someone running in the East Meath elections. Giving there's obviously some confusion over which my estate is thus in, I was wondering what would be the best way of checking what constituency I'm in and which I'm allowed vote for (and more importantly, which person is wasting time in trying to court the estate in which I live :P)

I think you can get accurate constituency maps from you local council. I'm sure they could inform you of which one you're actually in.

This should help you to work it out - http://www.constituency-commission.ie/docs/con2007.pdf - Page 32 (Map 9)

The boundaries have been re-drawn and now, most of East Meath is in the Louth constituency ie Mornington, Bettystown, Laytown etc.

Forgot to include Stameen and Grangerath. East Meath badly needs its own TD !! Some chance of that !
