Have been meaning to try it but have not got around to it yet.

It's hardly necessary though. It fills a gap in the market that most people already fill with desirable upgrades, eg TM pistols being fitted with metal slides.
On top of that, between our average temperatures and atmospheric pressure, green covers everything safely. If you were in a much warmer place, this might have purpose. Some pistols won't even cycle on 134a here.

dex is right. green works on nearly anything here without upgrading... apart from WA anything :P
