    Hi I am wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of format is played for a 2 person Rumble.

    Don't know if there's an 'exact' format for a Rumble because it often seems like it's made up to suit whatever/whenever/wherever.
    I've played in 3-person (team) rumbles which are stableford, best score to count on the first 6 holes, 2 best scores to count on the middle 6 and all 3 scores count on the back 6.
    It's an enjoyable social way to play team golf.. the tension does rise when you stand on the 13th tee...

    It's probably best score to count on the front 9, both scores to count on the back 9.

    These formats (Rumble, Scramble etc) are fairly makey-upy. In my experience you always get a pretty clear explanation of the rules at sign-in, if not stapled to your card.
